Procedure

1.-Letting the trunk dry well………is important!

2.- Once the trunks have dried, it will be easier to remove the bark,
Use a chisel or a flat screwdriver and with a hammer, remove all the bark from the trunk.

3.- Sand the entire trunk to remove any excess bark that may be left (you know it is ready if when you run your hand over it it is flat and smooth)

4.- Place wood putty in any holes or cracks left on the surface of the log. Follow the instructions and let it dry.
When it has dried, sand the trunk again!

5.- In this step you have two options:

Paint them with varnish, I recommend Xylazel Total wood treatment, which is also preventive of the action of insects or other bugs...and so as not to lose the effect of the wood.

Paint them the color you prefer. Give it the layers that are necessary and paint your tables as you like best
