The larger pack worked perfectly as a carry-on in the overhead compartment, while the smaller pack fit comfortably under the seat.
Throughout our month-long journey in Asia, we were able to carry on our bags on every single flight. The bag's versatility in carrying options made it easy to feel balanced, even when I ended up on crutches for the journey home.
