This is the new “Pro” PlayStation 5 controller! 2026

Sony has announced that it is working with the well-known company “Scuf” and they are bringing together a new “Pro” controller for PlayStation 5 called Scuf Omega – as an official licensed controller for the console.

Scuf Omega is now available worldwide and its price for the European market is 239.99 euros and you can find it by clicking here. The controller comes with mechanical keys, both on the Triggers, as well as on the D-Pad and the new Action Buttons located on the side, while it promises "another level" in high-end gaming.

Those who purchase this controller should know that Omega, in addition to PS5, also works perfectly with PC, Mac, iOS or even Android. You will find the controller in different colors, apart from the black shown by Sony – such as white, gray, etc.

Sony writes:

Scuf Omega offers players 28 inputs (commands/buttons). It includes 11 additional customizable inputs — 4 rear paddles, 2 side buttons and 5 G-Keys — that place the most critical actions right where the player's hands are. By adjusting these inputs, players can jump in a game without lifting a thumb, reload while still aiming, or slide while sprinting.

Through the official Scuf app, players can create their own profile and customize the Omega to their liking. Sony says the following:

• Build and manage multiple profiles for different games or playstyles
• Save setting directly to the controller
• Dial in sensitivity with true 0% deadzones
• Fine-tune trigger and thumbstick response curves
• Choose your thumbstick response zone: Circle, Square, or the default Squircle
• Configure SOCD settings for fighting games
• Manage microphone, volume, and audio controls
• Recalibrate thumbsticks to maintain peak accuracy
• Monitor battery level and charging status
• Set up mobile gaming connectivity
• Stay current with the latest firmware updates
