La new generation of Rolex Day-Date watcheswhose case diameter has increased to 40mm was presented at the 2015 Basel fair and includes the new caliber 3255 developed entirely by Rolex. This self-winding mechanical movement has 14 patents that offer essential improvements in terms of precision, autonomy, resistance to shocks and magnetism.
