Instructions:

STEP 1: Design the mold:

Build the mold brick by brick. When you reach the top, place some support braces to prevent the walls from buckling under the weight of the concrete. Use a base to support the weight and be easy and lightweight to remove.

STEP 2: Mix and pour the concrete

Mix the concrete and spread it into the form. After you've placed about 3 inches of concrete, use a rod to push the concrete into the corners and force any air bubbles out of the concrete. Repeat this process until the mold is full.

STEP 3: Level and smoothness

Don't worry too much about the Lego texture getting bumpy.

STEP 4: Let the concrete dry

Let the concrete dry for at least 20 hours before removing the mold.

STEP 5: Remove the mold

Disposing of Legos can be time-consuming. Remove some of the top layers and turn the block over to begin removing the bottom bricks. It is easier to remove the bricks from the bottom. You can use long nose pliers to remove the bricks from the bottom, but be careful not to scratch or bend the plastic bricks.

STEP 6: Clean the legos

Most dry concrete comes off Lego bricks. Some small parts can be scraped off or brushed with a toothbrush. Only use cold water and mild, non-abrasive soaps to clean bricks. If you have a mesh bag for washing delicates, you can place the bricks in the bag and wash it in a washing machine on cold water temperature. Do not use hot water or it will warp the bricks.
