Why This Matters for Left-Wing Activists
The report warns that Cuba's 'spiritual capital of Third Worldist radicalism' has influenced American far-left groups. The DSA is described as having a 'fierce, almost religious commitment' to the Cuban regime.
This attack comes as Trump doubles down on anti-communist rhetoric at rallies and presidential engagements. For over 60 years, the US has maintained a sweeping economic embargo on Cuba, which critics argue is a failed policy.
