Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2026: Longchamp Horse Racing Live Updates 2026

The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2026 at Longchamp is underway, and horse racing fans are gearing up for a thrilling weekend of top-class action. As the live updates roll in, we bring you the latest betting odds, race previews, and key contenders for the prestigious meeting.

Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac: Betting and Preview

The Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac, a Group 1 for juvenile fillies, has attracted a dozen runners. Current odds are led by Green Empress at 7/4, followed by Allela at 7/2 and Data at 6/1. The race has historically been a strong pointer to future Arc contenders, with last year’s winner Diamond Necklace going on to compete at the highest level.

French stables have won 10 of the last 20 renewals, while Irish and British raiders have shared the remainder. Aidan O’Brien has been the most successful visiting trainer with six wins since 2005, but this year his son Joseph saddles the likely favourite, Green Empress. She was runner-up to her father’s impressive Sun Goddess in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and sets a clear standard.

However, local hope Allela, trained by Christophe Ferland, is highly regarded. She steps up to Group 1 company after winning two minor events at Deauville and Chantilly but is just 1lb behind Green Empress on Timeform ratings with fewer races under her belt. Her stable companion Data, third in a Group 2, is another to consider.

Key Takeaways for Bettors

• Green Empress is the market leader but faces stiff competition from French fillies.
• Allela represents the best of the home team and offers value at 7/2.
• Data is a consistent sort who could surprise at 6/1.
• French stables have a strong recent record in this race.
• Keep an eye on Aidan O’Brien’s other runners for each-way value.
