Samsung MicroSD Express for Switch 2 Drops to Record Low Price 2026

The Samsung MicroSD Express card for Nintendo Switch 2 has hit a record-low price of 39 euros at El Corte Ingles, making it cheaper than ever to double your console's storage. This deal is a significant discount from the nearly 60 euros it costs at other retailers, so gamers should act fast.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a powerful upgrade over the original, but its 256GB of internal storage can fill up quickly, especially with large games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which takes up almost 100GB. Adding a MicroSD Express card gives you the space to install more games without worrying about running out of room.

Why the Samsung MicroSD Express Is Essential for Switch 2

The Switch 2 requires MicroSD Express cards for expandable storage, as traditional microSD cards are not compatible. This Samsung card is officially licensed by Nintendo and even features the Mario logo, ensuring it meets the console's performance standards.

With 256GB of additional space, you can effectively double the console's storage capacity. Installation is straightforward: simply lift the kickstand and insert the card into the slot. The card's Express interface offers much faster read and write speeds than standard microSD cards, which is crucial for loading times and game performance.

• Record-low price: 39 euros at El Corte Ingles, compared to around 60 euros elsewhere.
• Official Nintendo license: Guaranteed compatibility and performance for Switch 2.
• 256GB capacity: Doubles your console's storage, ideal for large games.
• Easy installation: Just lift the kickstand and insert the card.
• Faster speeds: MicroSD Express technology ensures quick load times.

How This Deal Compares to Other Storage Options

When expanding your Switch 2 storage, it's important to choose the right card. The table below compares the Samsung MicroSD Express deal with other common options.

As you can see, the Samsung card offers a substantial saving while providing the necessary performance. Standard microSD cards are cheaper but won't work with the Switch 2, so this deal is the sweet spot for value and compatibility.

Who Should Consider This Deal?

If you own a Nintendo Switch 2 and frequently download games, this MicroSD Express card is a wise investment. Games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth can consume a large portion of the internal storage, leaving little room for other titles. With this card, you can keep multiple games installed and ready to play.

Even if you don't have a Switch 2 yet, buying this card at a record-low price is a smart move for future-proofing your setup. The card is officially licensed, so you can trust its quality and performance. The background to this story is set out in Samsung 512GB MicroSD Express Hits Lowest Price for Switch.
