As you can probably expect, her boyfriend isn’t currently too happy with her.

While I support the OP in this case, I believe she could have handled the situation more effectively. I’m not saying she shouldn’t have been able to leave. Because it appears that was the best option in these circumstances. However, the time she left suggests that she left over some morning noise, making her appear petty. Her boyfriend wasn’t there to support her either, which doesn’t surprise me at all. After all, we’ve all read a plethora of stories in which the mama’s boy simply wants to stay out of everything, and they hope things solve themselves.

I think she needs to have a talk with her boyfriend as well.
