How to hang objects on partition walls? Partitions are lighter than a solid wall, so to hang objects on them you have to choose the appropriate fixing according to the weight of the furniture or painting, otherwise we could end up with a large hole in the wall. In this project we teach you everything you need to know to hang objects correctly on partition walls.
Materials
- Dove dove
- Butterfly dowel
- Self-drilling plug
- Expansion plug
- Anchor set
- Fine point screw
- Coarse thread screw
- Drill tip screw
- Partition hook
1 Pierce
- Make a hole in the wall with a wood or metal drill bit. The hole must be between 6 and 8 mm so that the legs of the dowel can enter, but its head is flush with the partition.

2 insert the dowel
- Fold the wings of the dowel to be able to insert it through the hole, the idea is that the wings open on the other side of the wall locking the dowel.
- You may need to help yourself with a hammer.

3 Fix the object
- Present the furniture or object that you want to put in and fix it with a screw to the center of the dowel so that it is trapped by the wings.

Process with Butterfly Dowel
1 Perdora
- Make a hole in the wall with a wood or concrete drill bit for the dowel to fit.

2 insert the dowel
- Pass the dowel through the furniture or object you want to fix, and finish by making it fit the hole in the wall.

3 Fix the object
- Tighten the screw so that when you turn its thread, the butterfly-type metal wings open behind the partition.

Self-drilling plugs
1 Install plug
- You just need to press the self-drilling plug to the wall with a drill and go.

- Finally put a screw. This way you can hang pictures on the screw, or if you prefer you can put the screw through a hook.

Expansion plug
1 Drill
- Make a hole in the wall with a wood or concrete drill bit for the dowel to fit.

2 Insert the dowel
- Put the dowel in the iron.
- Once inside, turn its screw. This forces the five elbows until they bend and remain as supports on the inside of the plank.
