A headphone holder with a simple clip can be an interesting idea that you can easily implement in your bedroom.

You can use this idea to implement it on your desktop in an easy and simple way, which will help you maintain order.

There are many headphone stands you can buy.

Most of them are headphone stands that take up a place on your desk. Others must be screwed to your desk and therefore leave marks when you remove them.

There are also some clip-on headphone stands, but I found them unsightly or too expensive.

Tools to make your simple clip headphone holder:

• Piece of wood (I used 28 mm thick)
• Aerosol adhesive
• Jigsaw or jigsaw
• Sandpaper

#1: Adjust the dimensions for your desk

• I designed the headphone stand for my IKEA desk with a 34mm thick board.
• Most of you will have different desktops and therefore will need to adjust this dimension.
• Download PDF File
• Print our attached pdf file and adjust the clamp length to the thickness of your table. You can do this by simply using a ruler and a pen. (See annotations in the pdf file)

#2: Preparing the headphone holder

• Print the attached pdf file or use the one you adjusted to the thickness of your table and use spray adhesive to attach it to your wood.
• Then use your jigsaw/jigsaw to cut the earphone holder.
• Be sure to leave the black lines on the inside of the clamp. (Please refer to the annotations in the pdf file) Otherwise, the headphone holder will be lost too much and may fall off.

#3: Sanding and final adjustments

• Sand all sides of the headphone holder until it looks good and you are satisfied.

If you now try to attach it to your table, you probably won't be able to slide it completely onto your table. This is because it left the black lines on the inside of the foot clamps during cutting. Now start sanding the inside of the clamp until you can slide it completely onto the table. While you're at it, sand harder on the inside corner of the clamp. (see notes in the pdf) This way you will obtain a good holding effect.

I placed mine on my table about a year ago and it has remained fixed in the same position ever since.
