- 4 units – 2x4 at 22 inches for supports
- 3 units – 2x4 at 23 inches for larger legs
- 2 units – 2x6 in 14 inches and 3/4 bench top
STEP 1:

So build the top of your work table: Attach the plates to the external boards with your 1 1/2 inch pocket hole system using the 2 1/2 inch pocket screws accompanied by glue. Also make sure to use glue that is applicable for outdoor projects. Place the plates 1/4 inch apart.
STEP 2:

As a result, attach the supports to the bench: Use a 1 1/2 inch cardstock pocket hole system with 2 1/2 inch pocket screws and adhesive to attach the supports or use 2 1/2 inch screws from the table top and secure the countersink. Brackets will sit 1 inch from the front-back edges and 1 1/2 inches from the side edges, and should be spaced as shown below.
STEP 3:

Secure the legs in place: To make the height of the X-shaped legs approximately 15 and 1/2 inches plus the width of the X is the width of your board.
You must measure and mark its exact dimensions, we recommend that you miter the legs at about 60 degrees. 3 of the leg pieces will be whole (green) and the other 6 will be reduced in half (blue), this is done so that the 2 outer ones are equal and the center is the opposite.
Holding the legs:
Still, to fasten the legs, use their 1 1/2 inch stock pocket hole system and the 2 1/2 inch pocket holes along with the glue. To attach to the bench, use 2 1/2 inch screws and secure to the table supports on the outside, or use their pocket hole system for 1 1/2 inch material and 2 1/2 inch pocket screws and adhesive to secure to the table. or both.
STEP 4:

Finally, we need to attach the frame supports: Measure each section (all 4) and miter for exact fit and angle with an approximate 60 degree angle on the side that will be attached to the legs, and a pointed arrow shape with approximately 2 1/2 inches and 2 3/4 inches on the sections as shown in the image above mitered at 135 degrees (approximately, so be sure to cut first). Also attach to bench top, supports and legs with the 1 1/2 inch pocket hole system and 2 1/2 inch pocket screws plus glue.
