You can make anything out of cardboard! See how you can make a lamp with multiple shades in an incredible way for your bedroom.

Cardboard has become quite popular in creating lampshades, so I thought I would give it a try. I always try to create simple things and make the easiest projects possible.

Anyway, this cardboard display is one of the easiest, I'm sure!

You can make these lampshades easily and as many as you want, because there is only one lamp but multiple lampshades that can be easily changed. So start making one now!

Steps to make a lamp with multiple shades:

Step 1: Necessary Materials

Things you will need to make the lamp:

• Cardboard
• Rule
• Pencil
• Knife
• Paint brush
• Black and gold paint
• Silicone gun
• Luminaire
• Adhesive tape (optional).

Step 2: Making the Base

• First, decide the screen size before making the base. You will need to cut 5 pieces of cardboard for the base.
• The color I made is 5 X 5 inches wide, so for the bottom of the base I had to cut a 5.5 X 5.5 inch piece of cardboard and 4 strips (1.5
• Cut a small hole in any strip to draw the lamp wire (see second image of this step).
• Place and glue the light fixture to the bottom of the base.
• One by one carefully glue the sides.
• Color the base and use masking tape to cover the corrugated areas of the cardboard around the sides.

Step 3: Cut Shapes

• The height of the screen depends on your choice, but once you have made the base, you will have to adjust the width of the screen according to the base. The screen must be at least 1 cm smaller (in width) than the base.
• Cut a piece of cardboard (4 times longer than the width of the base + 0.5 extra inches) and the height of your choice, mine was 8 inches long.
• Draw shapes on the cardboard piece, such as a square, stars, lines, triangles, etc. Use a knife to trim them. Cut the shapes carefully and as neatly as possible.
• You will also need to cut a piece of cardboard to cover the top of the screen. You can also cut out shapes on top.

Step 4: Painting the screen

• Paint the color you want. I have used black for this one.
• Parts to paint for the lampshade: The lampshade, Top of the lampshade, Base.
• Let the paint dry.

Step 5: Decorate the screen

• You can decorate the screen however you want.
• I used gold acrylic paint to color the edges of the stars.
• Color well and let the paint dry.

Step 6: Placing them all together

• After the paint dries, use hot glue to attach all the parts.
• First fold the blind 4 times evenly and glue the extra 0.5 inches side to side.

Step 7: Lighting!

I think it is better to use light bulbs that do not exceed 40 watts, and even better if you use CFL bulbs.

Fix the light and simply place the lamp shade on the base.

You can make as many screens as you want, change them when you are bored of the same screen. You can also make shadows in other ways, but it has to fit with the base.
