Step by Step:
#1. Make the cross of the legs
The 2 47x47cm cuts must be made openwork to form the cross. Each arm of the cross measures 7cm thick, and to mark it on the wood you have to measure the centers on each edge, from that center count 3.5 cm for each side, with this the 7cm wide arm is formed.
It is cut with the jigsaw.

For this step you will need to have a jig saw with a fine-toothed blade, which can be rented from stores.
#2. Assemble the bases
To assemble the bases in the shape of a cross, the sides are put together in pairs. One of 18.5x65cm and another of 20x65cm must be joined with corner presses, so the 20x20 sides will be available to coincide with the sides of the cross.
They are fixed with cold glue and nailed tips with a pneumatic gun. Fix the edge covers that measure 10x65cm.

#3. Assemble the cover
On the work counter, place one of the 80x190cm covers (MFD 12 mm), on it make a U with the 2 pieces of 10x80 cm and 1 of 10x187cm, secure with corner clamps.
In the interior, place the 5 ribs that measure 10x77cm, fixed with cold glue on their edges and tips on the outside.
Fix the second 10×187 piece that closes the main frame with cold glue and tips, also fixing it to the ribs. Finish nailing the corners that were with corner presses.

#4. Fill
So that when you hit the wood it doesn't sound hollow, but rather a drier sound like concrete, fill each space between the ribs with expanded polystyrene.
The plates must be cut to size and filled until they are flush. Put cold glue on the edges of the ribs and fix the second 80x190cm cover (MDF 12 mm).

#5. Seal

#6. Make the coating mixture
The concrete coating is made based on 1/3 cold glue and 2/3 water, this liquid mixture is made and the gray cement is sprinkled on top until it is consistent. If you want to have a darker finish, you can add black setting.

#7. Cover
Apply the mixture on the bases and the cover with a smooth trowel. You should apply thin coats that adhere well, rather than one large coat that may come off completely later. Allow 24 hours to dry between each layer of concrete, otherwise the final vitrified coating may turn white due to humidity.

#8. Vitrify
Seal the table with Vitrostone applied with a brush, the recommended minimum is 3 coats with 2 to 3 hours drying between each one.

#9. Assembly
To join the base with the cover, 2 3x3” squares must be used per base. They are screwed to the base and then the cover is mounted on top.
