If you want to mount a wall light where no electrical box was pre-installed, you can create a light point using surface-mounted conduit. This DIY method involves running three wires (live, neutral, ground) from the nearest junction box through a conduit channel to your desired location—no need to chisel into the wall.
In our hands-on project, we mounted a halogen lamp to the wall using its bracket, secured with two wall plugs. After disconnecting the power, we made the electrical connections and installed the lamp.

Installing the Switch Yourself
