The Nothing Phone (3) is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, bringing a bold redesign and significant upgrades over the previous generation.

The new Glyph Matrix stands out in particular, a monochrome dot-matrix LED display in the upper right corner of the back of the device, which is an evolution of the previous Glyph Interface.

Consisting of 489 individual LEDs, the Glyph Matrix offers a new way to manage notifications and functions, displaying call acknowledgements, app notifications, animations and system information in a particularly impressive way.

Also, Nothing introduces Glyph Toys — a collection of interactive micro-experiences like the Glyph Mirror, sundial, timer, battery indicator and games like “Spin the Bottle”. Switching functions is done via the special Glyph.

The Phone (3) features an impressive back with an asymmetrical layout and a 50MP triple camera system. The main camera has a 1/1.3" sensor with OIS, while for the first time a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and telemacroscopy capability is added to the Nothing series, allowing photos from a distance of only 10 cm. A 114° 50MP ultrawide lens completes the system, making the whole particularly versatile.

The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Brightness reaches 4,500 nits, while 2160Hz PWM technology reduces flicker for a more restful experience. The device incorporates a 50MP selfie camera and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

On the inside, the Phone (3) is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, with options of 12 or 16GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of storage. The 5,150mAh battery (silicon-carbon technology) supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging, while IP68 certification ensures dust and water resistance — a first for a Nothing device.

The device runs Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15. It is not yet confirmed whether the upgrade to Android 16 (Nothing OS 4.0) will be available within the current quarter. The company promises 5 years of Android upgrades and 7 years of security updates.

The Nothing Phone (3) will be released in black and white.

The 12GB/256GB version is priced at $799/euro/pounds or ₹79,999.

The top-of-the-line 16GB/512GB version at $899/euro/pounds or ₹89,999.

Pre-orders start on July 4th, while the first deliveries are expected on July 15th. The phone will be available at nothing.tech and select resellers.
