A lot of people live their life with the statement of quitting is not an option but that really doesn’t get anyone far. I understand that it means one should not give up but sometimes quitting a job is the only way to make sure your mental health is fine. Not all jobs are made for everyone. Sometimes the best decision is to leave the job behind that is not doing it to you anymore. And more often than not, the reason behind quitting is the work environment and how the higher-ups treat you.
It is as if people let a little bit of power get to their heads. I suppose that is the reason managers usually act like brats and not like adults. This is the story of one such brat. You would think an employee giving notice wouldn’t be bad. But apparently, this particular person did not appreciate it and fired the employee on the spot. I don’t understand why he decided to take it personally. But the employee wasn’t going to let it get to him either and that is how their revenge came to be.

So when the higher-ups asked him to bring back the truck, he rightly refused.
I am glad the boss got brought down a peg but I doubt that he would learn anything from this.
What did he think would happen? he really should have thought about it before he decided to fire him on the spot. While firing an employee is his right, he didn’t have to be so unprofessional about it. It always surprises me when higher-ups decide to take everything so personally and don’t keep it professional. And rather than looking at themselves, they decide to blame everyone else but themselves.
