Impossible Constructions: Real or Fake? 2026

Impossible Constructions: Real or Fake? Open your eyes and let your mind expand. Envision a world where gravity is no obstacle above logic. Try to guess (without cheating, of course) which buildings on this list are real and which are fake. Write your answer in the comments and we will see how right you are. We look forward to your participation!

#1 Incomplete building
Defying logic, the following construction appears unfinished. Torn in half, it rests on some columns that have a base, but that "disappear" in the middle of the axis.

#2 A parasitic block
Like a parasite, attached to the buildings that accompany it and taking advantage of them, these offices are built, whose appearance even awakens the idea of an inert living being. Emerging between completely rectangular blocks, the sinuous forms of that building break a conventional aesthetic and the established order.

#3 A solar design
Circular, modern and futuristic. When someone imagines future and possible human colonies on Mars, they imagine living in places like this. In reality, it is intended to resemble a rising sun, so its materials reflect everything that surrounds it, enhancing the rays of light that touch its surface.

#4 90º Building
Tilted, resting on one of its sides, as if the building itself were curious to know the space that surrounds it, it tries to spy on the world, defying the laws of physics. A 90-degree fold marks the border between the real and the imaginary, making the experience of walking under its shadow something unique.

#5 Square and orange
As if it were a portion of Gruyere cheese, this orthogonal construction rises in square shapes interfered with by infinite circular openings. Light and space become protagonists in a fortress that, due to its design and color, is impossible to escape from sight.

#6 An album from another world
The circular shape of this construction can have different interpretations. The architect who devised the design speaks of a flower, with its stem and open to the sun and light. But it is also true that a mind conditioned by the consumption of science fiction may be able to see in its lines the texture and materials of a flying disc.

#7 Large caliber design
The architect draws, notes and shoots with his pencil the traces of an intangible project. A firearm lends its shape to a pile of concrete and glass, thus raising an imposing and unique building. In any case, a construction not suitable for convinced pacifists.

#8 Building dreams
More like a dream than the real world, this design resembles a dream representation of three bugles pointing towards the sky. Its colors and textures, as well as its shapes, provoke a fascination that makes it irresistible to the senses.

#9 House not suitable for summer
Responding to the havoc that the summer caused, the organic façade of that house melted to the point of revealing its upper part. And of course, don't ask which way you should enter the house now, considering that the door now points directly to the ground.

#10 A diagonal apartment building
Far from accommodating the common verticality, this apartment building is organized diagonally. In this case, the balconies practically become hosts suspended in the air, completely breaking the architectural construction schemes..

#11 A house withparadise included
Who has never dreamed of having a house on the beach, where you can enjoy the landscape while having a drink? Well, the inhabitants of this spectacular house can do that daily and without fear of the tide rising. But also, if you tend to get a little vertigo, it may not be the best option for you.

#12 Swollen House
Fickle and malleable, this house seems to have come straight from the world of a comic book. Firm in its foundations but with crooked lines, it supports its own weight while seeming to sway like a jelly, always on the verge of spilling over itself.

Reals: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 12
