How to Install a False Ceiling with Aluminum Sheets. Now let's look at this project to install a false ceiling with aluminum sheets that can be very useful this summer to add a ventilation system with air conditioning perfect for large warehouses, warehouses or offices.

TOOLS:
- Tape measure
- Knife
- Heavy duty scissors
- Drill and screwdriver string line or laser line level
MATERIALS:
- 24 Inch Ceiling Tiles
- Edge Trim Channel
- Joist mounting channel
- Cross bars
- Finish trim bars
- 1 ½ inch drywall screws
Safe channeling and wiring:

Make sure there are no obstructions hanging below the joists (ducts, wiring, plumbing, etc.) and that they can be screwed into the joists. Secure ductwork and wiring so there is no pressure on the flush ceiling.
Preparations for installation:

Identify the U-shaped edge pieces, and have your 1 and 1/2 inch screws handy with a screwdriver. Set up a platform of steps or multiple stairs.

Have a friend help hand you the pieces and support the ladder throughout the installation process.
Install the U-shaped edge trim:

Begin by installing the U-shaped edge channel around the perimeter of the room with a drill and 1 ½-inch drywall screws. Start in one corner, going around the room, overlapping the seams by at least ½ inch.

Attach both ceiling joists and to the side wall with a drill and screws approximately every 24 inches.
Cut the border for the inside corners:

Measure and cut the molding to fit using heavy-duty scissors before installing it on the inside corners.

Make a super secure fit:

They overlap as shown for inside corners, and overlap on the other side for outside corners.

Place joist mounting channels:

These plastic strips have a center snap channel for the finish bars and side notches at 24 inches of clearance for the cross bars.

Decide your starting point and design in both directions. The ceiling tiles are 24 inches square. You can place the joist mounting channels parallel or perpendicular to the ceiling joists.
Install mounting channels for joists:

Use the side notches on the mounting channel to align with your starting point. Cut the mounting channel to size if necessary to align a notch in the correct location.

Make sure the channel is mounted in a straight line with a rope or laser line. Attach it to the ceiling joists with a drill and 1 ½-inch screws every 24 inches. Make sure notches remain 24 inches on center at butt joints.
Attaches crossbarsis:

Cross bars are similar to finish bars, but are only 24 inches long.

Place the trim bars into the notches of the installed mounting channels.

While one end of the cross bar is still floating, attach it to the next mounting channel using offset bars as spacers.
Attach the mounting channel to the beam:

Attach the mounting channel to the joist with the screws placed 1 inch from where each crossbar attaches. This will keep the grid.
Cut the cross bars:

Cut the crossbars to fit against the wall. They will snap into the mounting channel on one side and float into the edge channel on the other side.
Attach the trim bars:

Fit the finisher bars into the mounting channels, cutting pieces to size.

Alternate stitching as you move around the room
Install the sheets:

Start at one edge and install all the complete tiles.

Make your way through the rest of the room, one tile at a time.

Please note that the tiles are directional.
Install the edges of each sheet:

Cut the edge sheets with the heavy duty scissors.

Install them around the edges.

Install the remaining sheets:

Cut the tiles for the accessories with a utility knife.

and just installed all the sheets
