Build a Simple Closet or Open Shelf for those who need to store or hang extra clothes but due to space issues will not be able to have a built-in or other type of closet, that simple closet will be able to solve their needs. You just need to have wood, rope and follow some simple steps to have a closet like the ones we present in this article. Do you want to learn how to build this simple and charming project?

Materials and first step:
To make your open wardrobe, you will need 4 wooden sticks of the same thickness and a fifth somewhat thinner. You will also need a rope to join these wooden sticks, a ruler, a drill and sander paper. Have you already separated everything? Then let's get started!
We take the four sticks and make a hole at the same height and of the same thickness (as these sticks will be the upper base of the structure of your closet) in each of them. The height of the sticks will depend on the height of the closet we want to build. If it is for your child, we suggest using a smaller size.

Make the holes and sand the wood:
In this process we must take the drill and make the holes through which we are going to insert the ropes, in order to hold the sticks. The rope must be strong enough so that it does not break when setting up the structure. Also, remember that the connecting rope will be visible, so choose one that, in addition to being resistant, is the style that you like best to combine with your wardrobe, in the example leather ropes were used. After making the holes, we use the sandpaper again to leave the wood very smooth.

Join them with the rope:
This step is very important and if you have help it will be much easier to build your easel and make it stand. It involves picking up the sticks and placing them in a vertical position and crossed one over the other, thus making the holes on the two sides coincide. Once this is done, cross the thinnest stick that will be the upper base of the structure in the set of sticks that will form the two sides. When they are perfectly aligned, we take the rope and firmly join the cables (as indicated in the images) so that they do not move and also to make our project more charming.

Heads to get inspired:
The easels can be easily adapted to your needs and taste. You can use a wooden ladder instead of simple wooden sticks. The result is also very beautiful. In that case you just have to join the stairs with a board and if you want you can add some shelves too. The result is very beautiful in any bedroom and if you have space, you can even place the easels in sequence (using more stairs) because the feeling of lightness is enormous.

More legal ideas for hanging clothes:
Here we leave other alternative solutions for hanging your clothes, from something minimalist like placing a hanger hanging on the wall, to hanging a wooden pole on the ceiling where you can hang your clothes. Another option is to opt for the industrial style, which gives a more modern feel to the bedroom and is equally useful. As you have seen, any idea and almost any material can be used for these types of projects...
