Do it Yourself: Fantastic Living Painting of Succulents, it is a very nice and captivating plant. It has varied colors and formats and is perfect for decorating, mainly if you are the type of person who forgets to water the plants you have at home. These plants need little water.
Materials:
Separate a wooden frame of your choice, you can choose to reuse an old one that you already have at home or buy a new one. A wooden box that would allow you to create a certain depth in the piece. We recommend using treated wood so that it resists humidity better. The measurements will be according to the frame you choose, but consider that for a medium-sized painting like the one in the example it is necessary that this box can be filled with about 4 cm of soil. As auxiliary materials, nails, wood paint, gardening material, barbecue sticks and of course, succulents.

Assembly:
The next step is very easy but if you prefer you can use a carpenter to make the wooden box and help you attach it to the frame if you prefer. You must fix the wooden box to the bottom of the frame, use a wood glue and make sure it is dry. With the box and frame already joined, fasten the wire screen and nail it through the frame frame using a staple gun (the kind used to cover sofas for example). Now we can close the bottom of the box, use the back of the frame itself and close the box, use thin nails and glue. As a final touch, paint the painting with the color of your choice or leave the wood natural for a more rustic result.

Plant your Succulents:
After separating the plants, it is time to prepare the box for planting them. Fill the box with your own substrate for succulents and cacti that you can find in flower shops and garden stores, place the soil little by little and swing the frame to spread it throughout the compartment. With the help of a barbecue stick and still in the horizontal position, make cavities in the ground, start by arranging the adult succulents and then the smaller ones. It is not necessary to fill the entire space since they will grow, but try to cover the bottom as much as you can and as the wire screen allows. Intersperse varieties of colors and species of succulents for a better result.

The result and first care:
Your painting is now ready! After planting, it is advisable to keep it horizontal for a few hours and not expose it directly to the Sun for one or two weeks, leaving it in a place where it receives indirect light. This procedure will allow the seedlings to take root, gradually increase exposure to the Sun and avoid watering during the first two weeks.
To water them, remove the frame from the wall and place it horizontally. In summer, the ideal is to water them once a week (but try not to soak them) and in winter, once every fifteen days. Hang them back on the wall after they are dry, to avoid splashes.
