Cut List:
- (2) Top and bottom of box, 36″x15″
- (2) Box sides, 15″x3.75″
- (1) Back of case, 36″x 2.75″
- (2) Snare Brackets, 14″x3.75″
- (4) Legs, 25" long, tapered 1" to 3"
- (2) Long Leg Brackets, 28″x2″, with 5 degree miter on short sides
- (5) Short supports, 13″x2″

Step 1: Get a sheet of plywood

Using a 4'x4' sheet of 1/2-inch thick plywood, you can make all the cuts you will need for this project.
Step 2: Legs

Cut four legs that measure 1″ at the bottom, 3″ at the top, and 25″ long.
Step 3: Cut two long supports

Cut two long supports 2″ wide and 28″ long. Angle the two ends with a 5 degree cut.
Step 4: Cut five short supports

Cut five short support beams for the legs that are 2″ wide and 13″ long.
Step 5: Build leg structure

Using pocket hole Kreg Jig set to the proper configuration for 1/2-inch plywood, drill pocket holes on both sides of all support beams and drill through the frame.
- Start by connecting the two front legs with one of the long supports and the two back legs with the other long support. Make sure the top edge of the wood is flush.
- Then use three of the short brackets to connect the back piece to the front piece. Use two brackets on the outside to make a frame and one piece in the middle for support.
- Attach the other two support beams 12 inches from the box to support the legs from front to back on the right and left of the leg frame.
Step 6: Cut the top and bottom of the box

Cut two 36″ x 15″ pieces of wood to serve as the top and bottom of the box.
Step 7: Cut two sides for the box

Cut two 15″ x 3 3/4″ pieces for the sides of the box.
Step 8: Cut inner box supports

Cut two support beams for the inside of the box to 14″ x 3 3/4″
Step 9: Cutting the box

Cut the back of the box to 36″ x 2 3/4″
Step 10: Build the top box

Using Kreg Jig Pocket Holescompletely inside the box and building the box upside down:
- Attach the two side pieces to the TOP piece, making sure the two sides face the outside of the top piece and sit flush on the surface. The edges should align.
- Attach the back of the box to the INSIDE of the sides and to the top of the top.
- Connect the two center supports equidistant from each other and the edges connecting them to the back piece and the top piece.
Step 11: Attach the bottom of the box

The bottom of the box top should sit inside the two outer side pieces and level on the top of the back and center support beams. Use Kreg Jig pocket holes on the outside to attach this piece to the sides.
Step 12: Place the top of the box on the leg frame

Turn the box right side up and attach the bottom (side with the pocket holes) to the leg frame using wood glue on all top surfaces of the leg frame.
Step 13: Fasten

Hold these pieces for 24 hours to establish support.
Step 14: Varnish

Sand the edges to round them, then add oil or stain or your choice of finish to the wood.
Step 15: Concrete formwork

You can leave the desktop as is or add a layer of concrete. We used Quikrete countertop mix in white to make a rustic top.
- Build a form to pour the concrete that you see is 38″x17″. Mix the concrete according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- In the 1″ deep shape. Use an orbital sander to tap the edges to release air bubbles. For 72 hours
Step 16: Place Concrete Top

After removing the concrete form, sand any rough edges, then attach the top of the concrete to the wooden desk or construction adhesive.
