Materials:

1.- Buy solar cells

2.- Build the solar panel template and assemble the frame
Make a shallow box so that the edges of the frame do not shadow the solar panels when the sun rises at an angle. Use glue and screw the wooden pieces together. Please refer to the image above to make the structure of the solar panel.

3.- Paint the frame
With white color, paint the frame to reduce the temperature inside since when the cells are charged with energy it will become an oven.

4.-Buy solar cells
If you are going to buy solar cells that already have wax. Here is a way to effectively remove wax from solar cells.

Prepare three pots of boiling water that do not evaporate, one with soap and the other two with simply water. Bathe the cells separately in one of the pots of hot water, then transfer to the pot of soapy water and rinse the cell in the last pot of clean hot water.
5.-Join the solar cells together
The 18 cells for each panel have to be soldered in series. Use a light soldering iron. Use the soldering iron carefully as the cells are thin and delicate and could break easily.

Start by drawing a grid pattern on each of the cardboard sheet pieces. Next, place the cells in that upside-down grid pattern and make the welds. Make a line of 6 cells welded together.
6.-Place glue under the solar cells
Place a small bead of clear silicone sealant in the center of each cell. Then turn the sheet over and place it on the wooden frame grill. Press lightly in the center of each cell to ensure they adhere properly.

7.Connect the solar cell strings and perform a test
Interconnect the first and second chains of cells. You can use material to connect solar cells, copper wire, or even regular wire. Tie the braid with silicone caulk to prevent it from moving around, caulk is a good electrical insulator.

Test the first half of the solar panel under the sun and check if it works. If your electric meter shows power flowing, proceed to the second half.
8.-Install the panels on the frame
Use four small screws to anchor each of the half panels in place.

9.- Interconnect the two halves inside the frame
Connect the two panels together. Slide the cables through the vents in the center divider. Use putty to hold the wire in place.

10.-Install the blocking diode
The blocking diode is used to prevent the panel from discharging the power battery at night or on cloudy days. Place the diode inside the panel as the voltage drop decreases as the temperature increases. The inside of the panel will be warmer and the diode will work better.

11.- Tie the cables on the outside and place the plexiglass cover
Drill a hole in the back of the panel, near the top to allow the wiring to exit. Glue the cables with silicone putty for greater stability.

Before screwing the plexiglass covers into place, make sure all the silicone caulk has cured well and well.
12.-Add a power outlet adapter
Add the two-pin Jones plug to the end of the panel wires.

13.-Test the completed panel
With the energy meter, verify that there is a correct flow of electricity and thus be able to charge a battery or operate a machine in your workshop.
