Concrete Smiley Stones for a Scare Decoration, this is not the typical Halloween decoration, but it is perfect and just for our decoration, and one out of the ordinary and very simple to make, as it will create giggles and maybe even screams. Better yet, they will last forever, since they are made of concrete and so easy that you can make a lot at once, when you have the mold.
Step 1: Supplies and Teeth

You will need:
- Denture shape silicone ice mold
- Quick-drying concrete or similar (mixing tools/container, gloves and dust mask)
- Tin sheet
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Adhesive tape
- Acrylic paint (white, black, yellow, blue and red)
- Acrylic Pearlescent Medium
- Brushes, water
- Metal zippers and scissors
- Knife or similar
Make the teeth:
Mix a small amount of the concrete mixture with water (be careful and wear gloves and a dust mask when working with concrete). This mortar dries very quickly; in just a few minutes and doesn't require as much water. It is recommended to add water first and then add the dry mixture. It can be mixed into a fairly fluid consistency. Fill the silicone molds and tap well to remove bubbles in the tines and flatten the concrete.
Step 2: Paint the teeth

You can leave it as is or give it a bit of realism by painting it.
To mix a flesh tone, mix some white and red acrylic paint, add a little yellow and then a little blue. Compare it to the color of your hands, but a little more pink.
You can be picky or not. The interior will not be seen, nor the back.
I added a bit of glitter to make it look "saliva shiny." Even a little bit of acrylic pearlescent medium makes the teeth shine. You can't help but laugh at this...
Step 3: Glue from top to bottom

To place the upper and lower teeth, I separated them a little and hot glued them to the molars. This won't be seen so make sure it holds tight by filling it with hot glue.
To prevent anything from opening in the mouth, I sealed the back with tape.
Step 4: The shape and the zipper

Any length of zipper can be used, as long as it is long enough for the smile. The excess can be cut off. Use old zippers from discarded clothing, as the color does not matter. The 2 open ends of the zipper need a little gluing. You can adjust the smile as you wish.
Plue the top and bottom at the center point. I leave the sides loose to build some concrete 'cheeks'.
Since my sculpting days, I learned to use aluminum foil as a bulking agent. It's great as it can be formed easily and is quite rigid. Make the shape you prefer and glue it to the teeth. Add more if necessary. Now you can imagine what it will look like. Be creative, as stones come in all sizes and shapes.
I put a piece of aluminum foil around the zipper to keep everything tight before I start the concrete.
Step 5: The concrete

Using the same concrete, this time mix to a thicker consistency. I find that it will harden slightly in about 30 seconds, be quite moldable and able to hold its shape. I really love these things...
It can be a round type of stone or more angular. Try to make sure it has dents and holes. The rougher, the better and more realistic it will look.
When it dries, work the edges of the "lip." I like to use a painter's putty knife as it is thin and flexible. Spread the mixture carefully up to where the zipper teeth are. You can also brush any part with a brush and water if necessary. Try to keep the zipper clean. Trust me, it's not that difficult at all...
Step 6: Color

Yes, I'm always in a hurry. I imagine if the paint is added earlier it can sink into the concrete even better. I mix some black acrylic paint with some concrete and brush it very loosely. You could also paint it.
Let it dry. The mixture tends to be a very light white color if no staining is done.
Laugh out loud! These guys make me laugh.
Step 7: Place them in very beautiful places...

And now what? You can put them in the garden, discreetly add them somewhere surprising and wait for someone to jump. Halloween is perfect to add them to the garden or anywhere to surprise people. Greetings!
