Entitled Parents Want Their Daughter To Give Up The Wedding Venue Because Of Her Pregnant Sister 2026

Weddings are filled with drama.

Even if people want their wedding day to be perfect, some family drama is unavoidable. Things can get pretty chaotic if your mother-in-law wants to show up in her wedding gown or if some in-laws don’t want to come for one reason or another. That is why it is not surprising to hear wedding stories in which the family pulls the rug out from under the newlyweds and forces them to see things their way. Even though we’ve read more Bridezilla stories than we can count on both hands, this one is pretty outrageous.

The bride’s sister, you see, wanted the bride to give up her wedding venue for her. While I do not have a sister, I am aware that this is not how siblings treat one another. Just because she is pregnant does not give her the right to steal someone else’s life, which is exactly what she is attempting to do. She may claim that she does not have time to plan the wedding, but this is just an excuse; she wants everything handed to her on a silver platter. As you might expect, things did not go her way, and drama ensued.

This has been a long engagement and they were finally ready to get married.

And things were going pretty well until her sister dropped a bomb on them.

She wanted her sister to give up her wedding venue.

I understand planning a wedding can be stressful.

But does that mean it is okay for her to demand this of her sister?

Not only that but the bride’s family isn’t behind her either.

Atleast the sister’s fiance knows that what she is doing is wrong.

But everyone else is just pilling it up on her and making her feel guilty.

At least the in-laws are trying to back her where it counts.

Things didn’t end there either and we have a lot of story to get through.

Her sister kept digging her hole and insinuated that poster of this story was being unfair to her.

That is when she blew up and decided to put her sister in her place.

Is it just me or does the sister sound very manipulative?

If only blocking your family was something that fixed problems.

Her parents have basically taken her sister’s side and she has had to accept this.

Her brother did end up understanding her which is good news.

They are going through with their wedding after making some changes.

It is never easy to realize how toxic your family may be.

They also safeguarded against anything her sister or family may try in the future.

I know family can be toxic, but this is ridiculous. When parents say they don’t have a favourite child, they actually do. But, most of the time, they make every effort to conceal it. This family, on the other hand, is perfectly fine with telling their daughter that they don’t care about her. It is obvious where her sister learned her behaviour from.

I can only hope that she does read this.

Her wedding deserved to be her special day, not her sister’s.

If the Father believed what he said, he should have said it to her sister.
