People who adopted foster kids should be credited as superheroes but not until you know the reason that kid has been adopted. I know you guys are wondering why would anyone adopt a foster child for any bad reason. People do. Like this woman who wanted to adopt a foster teenager for the most terrible reason.

This Reddit user shared he has a miserable sister who used to make him babysit her kids and everything to assist her and her kids in life, she would even demand he gives half of his monthly pay to her. After two years of facing this oppression, OP decided to move out.

As OP moved out, his sister found it really difficult to manage things and her kids so she came up with a plan to adopt a foster teenager, not to give him/her a new family, love, or care but to get her kids a live-in babysitter who would not only look after her children but would also help her with house chores.

OP disagreed with this calling it a horrible idea. When a social worker came to OP’s house to enquire about his sister in order to know why she wanted to adopt a kid, he told them the truth and they disallowed his sister to adopt. She went off at OP calling him a terrible person for siding with truth.

OP decided to share the matter with the community members of the infamous subreddit “Am I The A$$hole?” to know if what he did was right or not.

And she is going off at OP for siding with the truth. My god, what has happened to humans? I am happy OP didn’t lie to aid his sister and did what was supposed to be done.
