We pay tribute to the ancient tradition with the new line of watches: theSeiko Presage Collectioninspired by Japanese gardens, alimited edition SRPC83J1. Four clocks are loaded with references to the refined aesthetics and form of Japanese gardens.
The attractive dial of these watches has the depth and texture of the Zen garden, traditionally called the Karesansui garden, where gravel is raked into fluid patterns reminiscent of the rippling of water. The hour markers stand out visually with this minimalist design composed of an orderly light-dark pattern, and are protected by a curved sapphire crystal.
For this collection, two calibers have been used, one with the standard dial and a second that allows you to observe the machinery through a transparent window incorporated into the design of the dial. The machinery window is designed to be contemplated from a unique point of view, as happens in the Zen garden, leading us to feel the flow of time. Watchmaking quality is present in every detail: from the double sapphire crystal to the discreet, elegant and slightly curved markers that reach the edge of the dial.
