Exhibition in Girona of the Breitling Superocean Heritage II collection to commemorate its 60th anniversary 2026

60 years have passed since the appearance of the professional diver collection that gives its name to theBreitling Superocean Heritage II. It is a special edition for its 60th anniversary, andPere Quera 1887wanted to contribute to the celebration by organizing an exhibition during this month of September in its exclusive boutique on Calle de Argentería 22 in Girona, during store hours from Monday to Saturday.

In the exhibition we can see the new models of this legendary Breitling diving collection, which has been redesigned but has remained faithful to its essence.

The new collectionBreitling Superocean Heritage IIIt presents a new steel bezel with a high-tech ceramic ring that is very hard, scratch-resistant and very resistant to shocks. The shape of the hands and indexes has been modified to offer perfect legibility enhanced with luminescent dots, however, despite these innovations, it has remained faithful to the original from 1957, recovering the original Superocean logo.

This collection launched especially for this 60th anniversary is proposed in two 42 and 46mm models and a 46mm chronograph, all of them in three different colors: black, blue and bronze. The bronze-colored versions can be accompanied by a new and exclusive rubber-leather bracelet of the same color, with contrasting stitching. In addition to leather, crocodile skin and rubber, all models can be obtained with a braided steel bracelet inspired by the legendary original bracelet.

As far as benefits are concerned, theBreitling Superocean Heritage IIIt retains all the technical qualities that have characterized it to date. The Chronographe 46 model houses an automatic chronograph movement with chronometer certification from the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control). The Manufacture Caliber B20 with which the Superocean Héritage II 42 and 46 models are equipped, also with COSC certification, is a highly precise and robust automatic movement, equipped with a power reserve of 70 hours. Derived from the Tudor Manufacture Caliber MT5612, with exclusive finishes, it constitutes one of the aspects of the recent collaboration between these two emblematic brands.

The robust steel case, with screw-down crown, is water-resistant to 200 m. The grooved unidirectional rotating bezel, with a luminescent dot at the 12 o'clock position, is equipped with a 120-tooth system that guarantees a very precise adjustment and great rotation flexibility, whether it is controlling the duration of a dive or marking various types of times, mainly in aviation.
