The latest creation of the L-Evolution Collection is equipped with a split-turn flyback chronograph and a large date display. As a sign of Blancpain's commitment to the precision standards of the GT universe, carbon fiber materials and cutting-edge technology have been applied to its manufacturing.
En efecto, para elaborar esta serie se ha utilizado carbono genuino cuyas propiedades, ligereza, robustez y estética, ofrecen, indudablemente, múltiples posibilidades de desarrollo. Con este material high-tech se han construido algunos componentes del reloj: el bisel y la esfera son casi una proeza técnica, fiel reflejo de la fuerza de innovación de Blancpain, ambos de fibra de carbono. Para afirmar su lado deportivo, la visualización de la fecha es grande y en formato digital. Presenta algún toque de color rojo que destaca sobre el fondo negro, y el pulsador a la altura de las 8h recuerda la forma de una tapa del tanque de combustible; además el contador a las 9h presenta forma de escudo.
Blancpain L-EvolutionIt has a heart with caliber 69F9, 409 components and 44 jewels, and has 40 hours of power reserve. Equipped with a column wheel, it shows a precise reaction of the pushers and its vertical clutch prevents an unexpected jump of the hand when the chronograph is started. It is a flyback chronograph with a rattrapante (if you want to know how this complication works, read our post about the chronograph), with a large double date window. The flyback function is activated by the pusher located at 4 o'clock.
Finally, the sapphire crystal stands out, allowing you to contemplate the fine decoration of its movement, whose components have been subjected to a two-tone shot-peened material reduction, and the striated features of the NAC bridges, which have a very characteristic anthracite gray appearance. Also striking is the black alcantara strap with stitching, equipped with carbon inserts that recall the latest evolutions in the automotive field, as does the carbon hood of the folding buckle.
