It's simple to make yourself and, paired with folding chairs, lets you quickly change the room's layout. A 600×1100 mm (about 24×43 inches) tabletop is even enough for three people, and a crescent-shaped cut at one end reduces its real footprint.

The table rests against the wall via a wooden batten fixed with two sturdy Ø12 mm metal wall plugs. On the vertical side of the batten, we screw a piano hinge as long as the batten itself, and to that, we attach the edge of the DIY tabletop.

One wing of the hinge will land roughly in the middle of the batten, and the other on the lower edge of the tabletop.
