Two new watches populate the firmament of watchesBell&Ross: los BR-Racing Bird, the BR V1-92 and the BR V1 94.Both have been inspired by the revolutionary BR-Bird aircraft, the latest technological creation of their engineers.
Bell&RossIt has always been characterized by a passion for aeronautics that has led it to design, in addition to fabulous watches, racing cars with features typical of the most precise aircraft. Now, finally, he has set out to conquer the skies by designing the BR-Bird, a high-speed flying machine with exquisite lines.
The BR-Bird is a true reflection of the commitment ofBell&Rosswith technology that has adopted speed and performance as hallmarks. A feature that is also evident in the new watchesBR-Racing Birdin whose aesthetics the colors and aerodynamic shapes of the brand new racing plane are recognized: the dial is white, like the fuselage of the BR-Bird, and the numbers, the bezel, the chronograph counter and the strap are the same blue color present in the tail and in some of its decorative elements.
In contrast to the white and blue characteristic of the aircraft's exterior design, we also find the orange color so characteristic of flight instruments and measuring devices in aeronautics: thus, the second central hand, the details of the dial and the covering of the leather strap are orange. The counter, on the other hand, is gray, a nod to the checkered flags and the brand's logo, which has also been seen on the wings and sides of the BR-Bird.
As for the dial, the numbers show a typography that evokes that of an aircraft's counters and the date window shows three numbers in clear allusion to the design of an aircraft's instrumentation. Furthermore, its link with the BR-Bird is also shown by the silhouette of the plane that appears in the background and at the base of the hand, in the case of the model with three hands, or on the second counter, in the model with chronograph.
Both modelsBR-Racing Birdreleased in limited edition, theBR V1-92y elBR V1-94, which have a 38.5 mm and 41 mm case, respectively, and are equipped with a mechanical automatic movement, perfectly represent the nonconformist and ambitious spirit of Bell&Ross in pursuit of the precision and high performance characteristic of the world of aviation, also seasoned by a taste for style and design typical of this passionate watch brand.
