Seiko Prospex, the collection that reflects the Japanese brand's commitment to ocean conservation, has a new ambassador: Fabien Cousteau. Grandson of the famous Jacques Costeau, Fabien has contributed to enhancing the work of the family saga in the preservation of the seabed.
For its part, Seiko, as could not be otherwise, has always shown a deep commitment to the protection of the oceans, a logical concern for a manufacturer that has the Prospex collection of diving watches as one of its basic pillars. That is why it was a matter of time before Fabien and Seiko met to collaborate on initiatives that would address this common concern for the health of our seas.
The result, then, of this union, will be Seiko's participation in the Fabien Cousteau Marine Learning Center, the institution created by the renowned marine explorer, to which the watchmaker will donate part of the profits obtained from the exclusive Seiko Prospex Save the Ocean collection.
In addition, a new Seiko Prospex Instagram account has been opened in which ocean fans will be able to find details of the activities, discoveries and adventures experienced by Fabien Costeau in his fight for the conservation of the underwater world. A fight in which, from now on, he has a new companion in fatigue, Seiko.
