The partnership between metal master Johan Gustafsson and watchmaker Patrik Sjogren shapes creations such as theBifrost Isblå watch, inspired by the beauty of northern Scandinavia and the ancient Swedish tradition of Viking metalworking. The Scandinavian watch brand GoS Watches presented this year at Baselworld its new Bifrost Collection hand in hand with its prototype Isblå (ice blue).
Currently, the production of the modelIsblåIt is a reality and the brand is satisfied with the results obtained. HeBifrost watchIt is the first of its kind made indamascene steelor Damascus steel. This material allows for the creation of more defined and intricate patterns and provides a step forward from the brand's previous models. Only a handful of blacksmiths have been successful in making pattern-welded stainless steel. However, Gustafsson has managed to work it to achieve the same effects as carbon-based steel.
