Since 2005, the creator of theRC44 monohullIt travels the seas, raising its synergies for all to see.HYTIt is the only hydraulic mechanical watch and the natural partner for this prestigious monocoque that has its own championship, theRC44 Championship Tour.
The classRC44was born in 2006 and was recognized by theInternational Navigation Federation. From 2007 onwards, there are teams that take part in theRC44 Championship Tour. It is a competition known for being one of the most difficult as well as the friendliest, and it is this spirit of resistance and camaraderie thatHYTwants to pay tribute on the tenth anniversary of this championship.
A box built as a monocoque
In the newH4 RC44All the maritime codes typical of this race come together: blue liquid, technical design, the same color codes of the regatta and an ultra-light carbon case, just like the hull of theRC44. And, as a last detail, something that we will only see inHYT- A seconds wheel that emulates the golden bar that the monohull raises when it is winning. In terms of finish, theH4 RC44It's in skeleton mode. A transparent sapphire disc displays the minutes with a black central hand. At 2 pm, the dial indicating the reserve power divided into 4 segments is located, showing the 65 hours of autonomy.
The translucent capillary travels around the outside of the watch housing a deep blue liquid,new in the H4 collectionand that evokes the blue of the sea.HYTguarantees that theH4 RC44Remain highly visible at night thanks to the SuperLumiNova® luminescent cover, indicating the time path by glowing brightly in the dark.
A piece designed with the same sense of harmony and the same unity of action
The box ofH4 RC44It is made of carbon with anthracite gray tones on the bezel and displays the titanium DLC badge at 6 o'clock, an emblematic detail ofHYT. The crown is made of the same DLC and is rubber coated. Its screw mechanism ensures water resistance up to 50 meters.
El H4 RC44wears a strap that has received the same attention. It is made of NOMEX, a high-performance synthetic fiber designed to be used in extreme conditions. Composed of Kelvar fibers, NOMEX can be found in some sailing hulls and is used in particular for its ability to form high-strength honeycomb structures.
10 years ago the seriesRC44did not exist and neitherHYT. Working completely independently both projects have forged new paths and introduced new models using modern technologies that go beyond previously defined limits. HeH4 RC44pays perfect tribute to this pioneering philosophy.
