Lange & Söhne has launched two new versions to expand its famous collection: two models of the1815 CHRONOGRAPH in rose gold. Both are a technical prodigy equipped with a column wheel transmission, in line with the collection, which has sought since its inception to develop a perfect chronograph with basic functions.

The chronograph function is activated by a pusher at 2 o'clock and offers an incredible precision of one fifth of a second. It also has the Flyback function, which allows you to carry out various timings consecutively, which comes into operation when the minute and second totalizers return to their position when you press the pusher at 4 o'clock.
As a nod to classic pocket watches, it incorporates a peripheral pulse meter scale, a typical function of those models that allows you to know your heart rate: the central hand of the chronograph shows the data in beats per minute on the scale divided into 40 to 200 beats. Both pushers, both the chronograph and the flyback, are made of solid gold.

It displays distinctive features of the collection, such as the Arabic numerals and the railway minute track, and is completed by the symmetrical arrangement of the auxiliary dials of the minute totalizer at 4 o'clock and the seconds hand at 8 o'clock.
This new revision of the 1815 CHRONOGRAPH is available, as we have already said, in two versions: with a black or silver dial. The version with a black dial has a sober look with firm lines, with hands matching the rose gold case and a black alligator strap. The more discreet silver dial model comes with blued steel hands and a reddish-brown alligator leather strap.

The two models of1815 CHRONOGRAPH in rose goldThey beat to the tune of a manually wound caliber L951.5, with a 60-hour power reserve and a freely oscillating balance spring with an eccentric balance. The precision of its chronograph mechanism can be seen through its sapphire crystal caseback: the chronograph column wheel is located next to the flyback lever and the stepped snail of the exact jumping minute totalizer. Likewise, it is possible to appreciate high-quality details, such as the hand-engraved steering wheel bridge.
