Longines, the legendary Swiss watchmaking company, reissues the Longines Avigation BigEye, a chronograph for aviators with a distinctive design, which completes the Heritage line inspired by historical pieces.
With an unmistakable vintage style, this watch recalls the aesthetics of the golden years of aviation with a design oriented towards the needs of pilots, with a dial characterized by its great legibility. The minute counter and large pushbuttons offer very easy manipulation, even when wearing gloves.
The Longines Avigation BigEye features a 41mm diameter case. Its L688 column wheel caliber has been developed exclusively for the Swiss house, which since 1832 has earned a well-deserved reputation based on tradition, elegance and performance. His long career as a collaborator of sports federations has given him extensive experience in the development of chronographs.
This beautiful watch stands out for its semi-glossy black dial, adorned with Arabic numerals coated with SuperLuminova. It comes with the small seconds counter at 9 o'clock, as well as a 12-hour counter located at 6 o'clock. The oversized 30-minute counter, placed at 3 o'clock, adds a touch of originality, and its domed sapphire crystal and brown leather strap complete the elegance of this retro-style model.
