The TAG Heuer Carrera collection celebrates its 55th Anniversary in 2018, and to celebrate it it has launched theTAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph GMTa new version of chronograph equipped with the GMT function, a complication that has been joined for the first time to the in-house Caliber Heuer 02 movement.
From its reference, the original model Launched in 1963, it has maintained its characteristic arrangement of the counters at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The minutes and hours of the chronograph, for their part, are located at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, the permanent small seconds hand is at 6 o'clock and the date window at 4.30 o'clock, where the new GMT function is now also located.
In thisTAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph GMTThe second time zone, which is fully adjustable with the crown, is displayed by a red lacquered hand and a 24-hour GMT scale bezel made of black and blue ceramic. To improve readability, the aforementioned GMT hand has been mounted between the hour and minute hands, a position that allows it to pass over the indexes and get closer to the GMT scale.
Finally, the 45mm solid steel case, heretical up to 100 m, presents a skeletonized dial that allows you to appreciate the Heuer 02 movement and the complications it houses. All harmoniously combined with an elegant and daring style to enhance the taste for avant-garde technique that characterizes TAG Heuer.
