On the 150th anniversary of the watchmaking house, theZenith Academy Georges-Jacot TitaniumI could not do anything other than pay tribute to the founder of manufacturing and precursor of the modern industry in the sector. A model that with its 797 components and a heart that beats at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations/hour will delight its wearers.
El Zenith Academy Georges-Jacot Titanium lands with a double mission: unite precision and technicality on the wrist. To this end, this limited edition of 150 units, all of them certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Control (COSC), combines mechanical prowess with singular lines visible to the wearer. And its high frequency mechanism is housed in a45mm titanium casein diameter and watertight up to 100 meters.
Additionally, the functions of the manually wound El Primero 4810 caliber, with central hours and minutes, small seconds and power reserve indicator, are displayed on the charcoal gray dial of theZenith Academy Georges Favre-Jacot Titaniumwith gold hands and black luminescent faceted indexes.
But the design of this Swiss manufacturing model goes further. This new watch features an opening at the top of the brushed dial that reveals the spindle-chain transmission with the hub at 10:30 o'clock and, at 1:30, the spindle around which the chain is wound. All this without forgetting the power reserve of up to 50 hours offered by theZenith Academy Georges Favre-Jacot Titaniumand indicated at 4:30 o'clock by a red hand, or the hornback black alligator leather strap with rubber lining and triple folding clasp. As I said, precision and technicality at hand.
