The company is now reportedly targeting production of nearly 20 million units by 2026, which clearly shows that the market not only exists, but is growing at an alarming rate.

Samsung, however, seems to play much more "intelligently". Instead of relying on a single fashion brand, it works with two different players simultaneously, hitting two completely different audiences, which could prove to be a huge advantage against Meta. The big question of course remains the same. Can smart glasses really become mainstream?
The answer will be judged on three pillars. Weight, autonomy and AI experience. If the glasses are comfortable for long hours of use, if they don't need charging every few hours, and if Gemini actually understands what you see in front of you, then Samsung might have the first truly useful Galaxy wearable on its hands.
