The South Wales wildfire above Blaenavon has become a gruelling battle against deep-seated peat fire, highlighting the escalating impact of the climate crisis on wildfire management. More than three weeks after ignition, crews and military personnel are still fighting to control the blaze that has scorched over 4,000 hectares.
