Only fifteen copies to surrender to the universe and time. The Swiss architectRino Brodbeck(Basel, Switzerland, 1934) has conceived and designed a unique watch piece inspired by the movement of the sky, the Earth and Venus that claims the infinity of time.
The clock Astar by Rino Brodbeck is a mirror of the cosmos made by Janvier SA, one of the most imaginative watchmaking firms of this century founded by Vianney Halter and winner of the Geneva Grand Prize for Innovation in 2013.
The 15 copies of theAstar watch by Rino BrodbeckThey are equipped with a mechanical caliber ETA movement and frequency 28,800 vph that offers an autonomy of 38 hours. With its rounded stainless steel case and almost minimalist profiles, it is 40 mm in diameter and 10 mm high.
The dial, in a space blue, is combined with the gold of a disc that indicates the time emulating the sun, the silver of another smaller one to indicate the minutes and acting as the moon, and the diamonds of the seconds hand inspired by Venus in an original composition that replaces the traditional hands.
Brodbeck wanted to evoke the cosmic order in this piece, giving it a more spiritual role, a symbiosis with the astral universe that brings man the perception of infinity and encourages him to think, love, create and act.
