Next April 7, 8 and 9 the first edition of theBarcelona Watch Experience, an event that wants to mark a before and after point in the world of watchmaking. Exhibitions, presentations, debates... and an occasion market so that fans of any level can find an activity to suit them. We also want to contribute to the revitalization of tourism and quality commerce in a city – Barcelona – that still has a lot to say in this regard.
“Ground zero” will be Paseo de Gràcia, the “golden mile” of Barcelona, where the finest luxury businesses meet, including jewelry and watch stores that distribute the most prestigious brands. It is precisely in these establishments that presentations of the latest watch models will be held just after one of the largest watch events in the world: Baselworld, which will have closed the previous week.

The hot spots of this ground zero will be the Casa Fuster hotel, where many of the scheduled presentations will be given, and the Palauet, a small modernist jewel of the city where the second-hand market will take place, with offers from carefully selected merchants so that this first edition is the success that underpins future editions. But there will also be other focuses of interest, such as the Boquería, the world-famous food market in the heart of the old town, where various breakfast-discussions on different topics related to watchmaking will take place.
To round out this watchmaking environment, the Special Watches forum, the most important in the world in the Spanish language and partner of this edition of theBarcelona Watch Experience, will hold its annual meeting of members on those days, who will of course actively participate in all the scheduled events. A very attractive prospect for any fan of Fine Watchmaking.
