The new Breitling Chronospace Evo b60 houses in its robust and light titanium case the first quartz movement entirely developed by and for Breitling - a SuperQuartz™ caliber -, a chronograph with a 24-hour counter, central minutes and intermediate times.
If in Breitling's high-tech professional collection, the Chronospace Evo already appeared as the only electronic model equipped exclusively with a hand display system, it now stands out even more by becoming the first Breitling model to house a quartz movement with an analog display system entirely developed and produced by the brand. Created and manufactured in Switzerland, the movement joins the Caliber B50 with an analog and digital display system and is equipped with functions dedicated to aeronautics, and the Caliber B55, at the forefront of the connected chronograph. All this without mentioning the wide range of Breitling mechanical movements.
Breitling Chronospace Evo b60 BlueThe electronic caliber of the Breitling Chronospace Evo b60 has a precision ten times greater than that of a standard quartz movement since its thermocompensated SuperQuartz™ caliber, with official chronometer certification from the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Control), is distinguished by the extraordinary functionality and readability of its chronograph. The tenth of a second is indicated on a counter positioned at 2:30. Along with the large figures, the white luminescent hands are designed to promote visibility no matter the conditions. The centers for the seconds (red end) and those for the minutes (white end) are completed with a 24-hour counter located at 9:30 for activities that last a whole day.
Among the watch's functionalities is that, by pressing the pusher positioned at 4 o'clock, the user can stop the chronograph hands at will to measure intermediate times. Pressing this same button a second time allows the hands to return to their initial position and the timing in progress can be continued. This action allows you to follow the exploits of several opponents during a competition or measure several successive times during the course of a mission.
Finally, the unidirectional rotating bezel offers excellent ergonomics thanks to its four moving indexes that allow time to be measured. The titanium case, water-resistant to 100 m, is equipped with protective reinforcements on the screw-down crown.
The new Chronospace Evo B60 is available in two versions: black dial with slate counters or blue dial with black counters and is accompanied by titanium, leather or rubber bracelets.
