This November marks five years since the opening of Grau-Rabat, a Rolex dealership in Barcelona. Since 2012, many things have happened, and one of them has been the gradual increase and consolidation of a clientele loyal to the crown brand that at some point had been 'orphaned' as a supplier.

The opportunity has been taken to renew the decoration, focusing precisely on the corner dedicated to Rolex with the elements approved by the brand and that generate in the visitor a feeling of “being at home” whichever dealership they visit. It will be the personal touch of each one of them that will leave good memories and the desire to return.

Present as the visible heads of Grau-Rabat were Gemma Grau and Jordi Rabat, each managing their own business and united in this joint venture that is giving them such good results: not in vain is the Rolex brand a fixture on the Forbes list of the 100 most valuable brands in the world.

In addition to seeing the facilities (and greeting Juan Carlos, responsible for technical service, a great professional with an almost infallible eye), the attendees had the opportunity to try on some pieces that are on the lips of many but in the hands of very few. Like the steel Skydweller, just arrived after its presentation at the last edition of Baselworld.

Or the mixed Yachtmaster with a brown dial, presented in the 2016 edition. By the way, the red legend (scritta rossa, as the Italians say) that appears on that dial is striking, perhaps a precursor to the one on the Seadweller 50th anniversary that has spread so much graphic and electronic ink. We will see if it is a specific issue or red will become a common color in Rolex sports dials.
