Science is not resurrected, but mechanics is. Longines signs a technical prodigy by bringing to life one of its iconic models, theLongines Pulsometer Chronograph. A monopusher chronograph with a medical vocation that served doctors as an instrument to measure the heart rate of patients.
Elegance and functionality come together in a model from the early 1920s in which elegance and functionality come together. HeLongines Pulsometer Chronographwas born to minimize the inaccuracy derived from the imprecision when measuring the pulses that were carried out in a period of 60 seconds during which to accurately count the number of the patient's pulses.
The white sphere ofLongines Pulsometer ChronographIt is adorned with painted black Arabic numerals that highlight the blued steel Breguet hands, while the red-colored pulse scale stands out with refinement. The transparent back of the steel case, with a diameter of 40 mm, reveals the minute track of the column wheel movement produced exclusively for Longines, an eyewitness of the savoir-faire of the brand's watchmakers. The model is completed with a brown leather bracelet.
