Montblanc has given ajump in time to design the Montblanc Homage to Nicolas Rieussec II. A model that commemorates the launch of the inked chronograph designed by Nicolas Rieussec in 1825, a virtuoso watchmaker of his time. Now, the German house pays tribute to both the master and his creation with a limited edition of 565 units, all of them with double barrels that ensure a power reserve of 72 hours.
Todos y cada uno de los Montblanc Homage to Nicolas Rieussec II presents a 43 mm steel casein diameter and a dial in which the Manufacture MB R200 automatic caliber is hidden. But this reinterpretation as a watch does not neglect the date, the second time zone indication and another day/night indication, like one of the house's insignia.
With its colors and the shape of its needles, theMontblanc Homage to Nicolas Rieussec II chronograph faithfully reproduces the look of the originalwhile adapting to the modern era. Thus, in order to guarantee precision in the measurement of short periods of time - remaining faithful to the indication method used in the second chronograph perfected by Nicolas Rieussec in 1825 - the rotating counters that indicate the seconds and the registration of 30-minute time periods (until now located respectively to the left and right of the dial in all models) are replaced for the first time by slender chronograph hands.
As for the indications, for the hour ring and the graduation of the counters, Montblanc has opted - as in the case of its predecessor - for aultra modern hybrid ceramicwith the Montblanc Mysterious Super-LumiNova®.

On the back, a flat sapphire crystal that allows detailed observation of the finishes of the automatic movement that includes 319 components.
