Both models are inspired by the Minerva Manufacture Chronometers, which were used to keep track of time in car races.
This brand was known for the precision with which its famous “Rally Timer” measured short time intervals. In 1936 Minerva stood out as a manufacturer of professional competition watches, as it was one of the first manufactures to develop a movement that could measure 1/100 of a second.

El Montblanc TimeWalker Manufacture ChronographIt combines a white "panda" dial with three black counters, already present in its successors, with a new automatic chronograph.
The contrast of the white dial, coated with SuperLumiNova® technology that provides visibility both day and night, with the black counters aims to evoke the controls of classic racing cars and gives it a very important distinctive feature in the world of watches.
The main hands are “dauphine” and the chronograph seconds hand has a powerful red color that pays homage to the Minerva chronometers. The black bezel is made up of a glossy black ceramic tachymeter scale that makes the watch stand out for its high technology and offers greater robustness and better performance.
The box is made up of a smoked glass opening that emulates and recalls the windows that covered the engines of racing cars.
El Montblanc TimeWalker Manufacture Chronographindicates hours, minutes, seconds and date. The chronograph has a central hand and counters at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock.
The watch strap is available in two finishes, a stainless steel bracelet, or a brown aged leather strap made by Montblanc from perforated Sfumato calfskin.
At the heart of this model we find a MB 25.10 chronograph caliber with traditional finishes such as "Côtes de Genève", pearl decoration, blued screws and a new monobloc oscillating weight made of rhodium-plated black tungsten and designed in the shape of a balance wheel.

The other model that Montblanc presents, theTimeWalker Rally Timer Chrongraph Limited Edition 100, is characterized by its unique “reverse panda” effect dial and the hand-crafted MB M16.29 hand-wound monopusher chronograph caliber and a 50-hour power reserve. Another novel aspect is that it can be converted into a pocket watch by folding the strap under the case. In turn, the pocket watch can be placed on a table by deploying the two arms under the case and if it is attached to a metal plate covered in leather, which is attached to the car controls, allowing the watch to function as a stopwatch and be very functional while driving.
The 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock is vertically aligned with the small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, a detail reminiscent of the original Minerva Rally Timer. In the center, the red chronograph seconds hand circles around a tachymeter scale, which can be used to calculate speeds over fixed distances.
