El Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016, the UK's biggest motoring experience, was the final pit stop for thousands of car fans celebrating their passion for motorsport. And to celebrate its anniversary, TAG Heuer launched two new watchesTAG Heuer Formula 1 Special Anniversary Editionwhich also pay tribute to motoring legend James Hunt.

TAG Heuer, between June 23 and 26, returned to the event for the sixth year as official timekeeper of theGoodwood Festival of Speed. Since partnering in 2011, the Swiss house has introduced a large number of innovations, including the glamorous TAG Heuer Driver's Club or the TAG Heuer Pavilion, which turned out to be a Mecca for lovers of watches and motor sports, playing a special role in several exhibitions.

The two new watchesTAG Heuer Formula 1 Special Anniversary EditionThey are the result of an exclusive union between the watchmaker and The Hunt Foundation, and a creative collaboration with James Hunt's son and fellow racing professional, Freddie Hunt.

Patrick Dempsey attended the event along with legends of motor racing such as Freddie and Tom Hunt, Derek Bell and Jenson Button, and from the world of celluloid such as Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves and Friend of the TAG Heuer Brand Sabine Holbrock.

Highlights included the display of James Hunt's Lotus 59 and the Red Bull Racing RB12, an Oculus Rift immersion, a virtual reality experience that took visitors on a fascinating 3D journey through TAG Heuer's history, and selection from the current TAG Heuer collection, including the all-new TAG Heuer Connected.
