Color triumphs in the new watch modelsZenith Star 33mm. An explosion of tones for a day version, another at night and a luxury one in which sobriety and ornament play hand in hand. The first model offers a horological interpretation of origami, the art of Japanese origami, which gives the watch its name. The sphere, conceived in three dimensions, is like a sheet of paper folded and then unfolded. The design is off-center at 9 o'clock to create a visual surprise. Specifically, the small seconds hand becomes the center of attention and four brilliant-cut diamonds used are responsible for telling the hours.
The secondZenith Star 33mmbets on flowers, a touch of spring thanks to its peculiar dial, in which the white mother-of-pearl background has been covered with several layers of colors that appear printed and allow different shades of red and a shadowed effect to be obtained. Next, a silhouetted structure has been applied to create the shape of the petals and the rhodium-plated effect.
The third watch features a case, dial and pin buckle hand-set with brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.54 carats. The dial is an 18-carat gold plate in whose creation three master craftsmen have participated: the engraver who has designed the flower by hand, the enameller who has delicately covered the petals with a translucent blue enamel, and the setter who has decorated the outline with diamonds.
