How to Lay a Concrete Floor on Your Patio Like an Expert in 7 Steps As an investment, concrete patios generally cost less than patios made of brick or natural stone because they require less labor to install.
Easy to make concrete floor

Building your own natural stone patio can be a difficult and expensive task, but with concrete work it is easy and affordable. Laying a stone patio involves laying each individual piece, but with concrete, it is simply poured and then stamped into sections.
Simple and affordable apartment
Not only is installation simpler and more economical, but stamped concrete patios and walkways are more durable than real stone, no need to worry about loose or cracked pieces. Concrete as a building material can be very economical if you can handle the work yourself and is still a very solid option if you are also paying for some or all of the physical work.

Procedure
1.-Wooden frame
The minimum thickness of the concrete slab you want is 10 cm on a minimum base of 20 cm. If you decided on a 3 meter x 4 meter patio, that means you have to remove a lot of soil. Consider whether you can use the soil somewhere in your garden, otherwise you will need to remove or remove it.

2.- Wire mesh
Reinforce concrete with wire mesh (10 gallon metal 150mm squares). Place the mesh on the wire supports, sold separately, so that it is approximately in the center of the slab thickness. Leave a few inches of space between the mesh and the edges of the forms to prevent rust. Overlap 10cm sections and tie with wire

3.- Spread the concrete
Have a helper with a shovel spread the concrete in corners and against forms and expansion joints. Place a wide board across the forms so you can reach the inside of the pour. If the concrete encloses the singing wire mesh, pull it with a rake so that it is in the middle of the slab.

4.-Level the concrete
Pull a straightedge (a long, straight board) across the forms to level the concrete. Tilt the ruler forward and slide it from side to side as you push it forward. Shovel excess concrete in front of the screed or fill in low spots.

5.- Control boards
Cuts shallow grooves, called control joints, in the wet cement pad. These weaken the stains somewhat, so if the ground shifts, the resulting crack would form along the control joint.

6.- Sweep surface
For best traction, pull a stiff-bristled broom across the surface. Draw the broom in straight or wavy lines. If you don't like the pattern or it's too thick, apply the trowel, wit and broom again. The drier the concrete, the fineris the swept surface. Make another pass along the perimeter with the edger.

7.- Place plastic
Place plastic sheets over the finished surface to aid in the curing process. Moisture trapped inside eliminates the need for watering during the curing stage. Allow concrete to cure at least 48 hours before removing forms.
